Bohol

Previous entry was a bit sarcastic but reality is not so drastic. To be objective let me show you what I’ve missed and wouldn’t have if I had come here a month earlier.

To add to scenery, this is the end of the hottest season of the year. My diving computer shows that the sea water on the surface has 33 degrees Celsius J Well, not bad, I guess. It would be perfect if it was allowed to come to office in beach wear ;-)

It's convenient

Living in Asia is very convenient. Most probably you will ask why? Let me hurry with the answer. I’ll bring some examples to support my notion. Let’s take World Cup. Nobody watches it here, but it’s really okay since no television shows it. What a wonderful balance. It gives limitless possibilities for people that have even a scarce knowledge about soccer to bet money and win with almost anybody.
Coming back to accessibility, it is of course possible to buy some sport cable channel, that transmits matches live (I think there are 2), for unbelievable amount of money but who would like to enjoy the World Cup games alone. And here come pubs and restaurants with helping hand. There are some that shows all matches live on big screen projectors. It’s fun.
Than comes a questions who would be so insane to watch a game at midnight or even better at 3 AM in the morning. Well, there are some people like that. But even people that are not really soccer fanatics (like me) have great opportunity to watch a game on their way home, since it’s normal to stay in the office till midnight. And this is how everything is so conveniently set to make life here much, much easier ;-)
By the way, I'm so happy I haven't admired fully Polish team playing in this tournament. One more advantage...

As a typical tech freek (hehe not really) just checking functionality ;-)

I needed to add this photo to have my avatar displayed...
